Fire damages home in Mansfield Township, Burlington County

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (WPVI) -- A Burlington County home was damaged by fire Monday morning.

Chopper 6 was over the 28000 block of School House Road in Mansfield Township around 6:30 a.m.

Crews were first called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. and reported heavy flames showing from the side of the home.

Firefighters called for extra help to get water to the mostly rural area.

The situation was under control in about an hour.

No word yet on how it started.
