Fire erupts in Philadelphia supermarket

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a supermarket in Philadelphia's Juniata Park section early Friday morning.

The fire was reported around 5 a.m. at the Super Foodtown Market in the Harrowgate Shopping Plaza on the 3500 block of I Street.

First responders say heavy smoke could be seen as they arrived.

Crews made their way through the store to locate the fire in the rear of the building.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
