
ALLENTOWN, PA. (WPVI) -- Authorities are working to determine the cause of an apartment building fire in the Lehigh Valley that broke out Wednesday evening.
The blaze started just after 5 p.m. in the 600 block of North 22nd Street in Allentown.
Video from the scene showed thick smoke billowing into the air as firefighters battled flames coming from the rooftop.
No injuries were immediately reported.
Severe weather was moving through the area at the time of the fire, though officials have not confirmed whether the blaze was sparked by lightning.
The investigation remains ongoing.
