Gritty stops by Action News to get fans Flyered up for the playoffs

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Flyers-Penguins playoff series opens in Pittsburgh this weekend and Gritty stopped by Action News on Friday morning to get everyone Flyered up!

He visited the studio with Everett Jackson, known to fans as Mr. Hollywood DJ, the Flyers in-arena host.

Gritty and Mr. Hollywood DJ stopped by Action News on Friday morning to get fans Flyered up for the team's playoff game against the Penguins this weekend.

Gritty also helped give the weather report with Karen Rogers and traffic with Alyssa Bainbridge.

Mr. Hollywood says young fans at the Xfinity Mobile Arena have brought a new energy to this team.

The Flyers also shared a playoff hype video to get Flyers faithfuls ready for the postseason, saying the team is "Uninvited. Unapologetic. Ignited."

The Flyers will face the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game one of the series on Saturday at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
