Hero Awards given to N.J. transporation workers

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill congratulated the recipients of the Department of Transportation Commissioner Hero Award on Monday.

The Governor delivered remarks at the ceremony at the Department of Transportation headquarters in Ewing.

The event honored individuals who have demonstrated exceptional acts of bravery and service on the job.

Sherrill presented individual workers with plaques to honor their commitment.
