Hersheypark, Dorney Park prepare to open Halloween events for season

Students are all back in school, and now the Halloween season is approaching.

Hersheypark is bringing back its spooky experience for the fifth time.

"Dark Nights" gets underway on Friday for the first of eight consecutive weekends of Halloween fun.

The park will feature five scare zones, including the new Reese's Depot of Doom and five unique haunted houses for guests to enjoy.

Dorney Park's Halloween Haunt officially opens for the season on September 18.

Guests can enjoy scary thrills, spooky shows and haunted mazes throughout the park.

For younger kids, the park offers "Tricks and Treats," which is a daytime event designed specifically for families.
