Inaugural gala held in memory of Fanta Bility

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Family, friends and community members joined together to honor a young girl's life and legacy.

The Fanta Bility Foundation hosted its inaugural Spring Gala at the Springfield Country Club Thursday night.

Bility, 8, was shot and killed in 2021, when three former Sharon Hill police officers fired into a crowd after hearing gunshots outside of a football game.

Proceeds from the event will support the foundation's community-based initiatives.
