Video shows how Las Vegas police tracked down suspect in Center City Philadelphia 'masked man' case
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Action News obtained new body camera footage showing how police in Las Vegas tracked down the masked suspect, accused of terrorizing people in Center City.
Body camera video shows detectives talking to a woman last Tuesday as she helped lead them to an apartment where the suspect, Zymire Hughes, was hiding.
We are not showing the woman since she is not a suspect and has not been charged with a crime.
The woman told police she shared an apartment with Hughes.
Officers are then seen converging on an apartment building where they arrested Hughes.

He is now awaiting extradition back to Philadelphia to face charges for allegedly chasing and harassing people near City Hall.

During a briefing last week, Philadelphia Police Capt. Jason Smith said Hughes encountered as many as 15 or 16 people the morning of Aug. 12. In several incidents, police said Hughes approached victims while wearing what authorities described as a "distinctive Chucky doll-style Halloween mask."
Police believe he may have been motivated by a desire for social media attention.
Officials said Hughes has ties to both California and Las Vegas through employment and also has family in Philadelphia.

He remains at the Clark County Detention Center, while he is awaiting extradition back to Philadelphia to face charges.
