1 dead after car, truck collide in Northampton Twp., Bucks County

NORTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a car and a truck collided in Northampton Township, Bucks County.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday on Bristol Road near Wordsworth Drive.

Video from Chopper 6 showed a heavily damaged car positioned perpendicular to the roadway, with debris scattered around.

The truck, which appeared to have damage to the front driver's side, was stopped nearby.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office, one person was pronounced dead as a result of the crash.

No further details have been released about the victim or how the crash occurred.
