Investigation underway after police-involved shooting in Aldan, Delaware County

ALDAN, Pa. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway after a police-involved shooting in Aldan, Delaware County, early Thursday morning.

It happened around 3:35 a.m. in the area of Providence Road, south of Clifton Avenue and Aldan Avenue.

South Clifton Avenue is lined with police cars from a number of different departments.

There are several evidence markers set up along Aldan Avenue, which is completely blocked off.

There is no word yet on the circumstances leading up to the shooting or the extent of injuries.
