Josh Groban returns to Philadelphia for concert with special guest Jennifer Hudson

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two legendary voices, one unforgettable evening.

Internationally renowned singer Josh Groban is kicking off his North American tour this summer, with special guest Jennifer Hudson.

The powerhouse duo is coming to South Philadelphia on June 7.

"I have always loved my time in Philadelphia," says Groban. "I've played just about every venue there is there, indoors and outdoors, and the Philly audiences are always just so great. It has been a place that has always filled my tank with a lot of joy."

He says he's thrilled to be sharing the stage with Hudson.

"She is one of the great voices of our time," Groban says. "We're planning the show right now. We're going to do our own sets, but we're also going to sing a couple of songs together, of course. Jen and I are just having a really good time thinking about how we can blend our voices out there in a way that will blow the roof off."

Groban is a Tony, Emmy and five-time Grammy award winner.

Hudson, an American Idol alumna, is the youngest woman to win an EGOT: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

In support of arts education nationwide, a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated to Groban's Find Your Light Foundation.

The pair will perform at the the Xfinity Mobile Arena in South Philadelphia on June 7.
