

KUTZTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Kutztown University, in Berks County, has been given the all-clear after a security scare Tuesday night.
Students received a safety alert just after 10 p.m. while local and state police surrounded Dixon Hall for a report of someone with a weapon.
Authorities completed a door-to-door check.
No weapon was found, no one was hurt and no active threat was identified on campus.
The University's counseling center will be available for students with concerns starting at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
