Large sinkhole stretches across intersection in Philadelphia's Logan section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A large sinkhole stretches across an entire intersection in Philadelphia's Logan section.

The sinkhole opened up Thursday afternoon at 11th and Ruscomb streets.

It's been partially covered by wooden planks and is surrounded by caution tape and barriers.

However, down below that, there are bricks and chunks of the road in the hole -- and even some caution tape.

Action News has made calls to the Water Department for more information on repair efforts.
