

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Local leaders gathered at a church Tuesday morning to highlight the growing problem of food insecurity in Philadelphia.
The CEO of Hunger Free America, along with elected officials, visited a food distribution program at Saint John's Lutheran Church in the city's Mayfair section to talk about federal food aid cuts.

They say there has been a massive increase in the number of people who rely on help from food charities after cuts to the federal SNAP program.
