Airline food employees hit the picket line amid holiday travel rush

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Airline food employees have hit the picket line hoping to draw attention to a nationwide protest during the holiday travel rush.

The Action Cam captured the scene at Philadelphia International Airport as the LSG Sky workers demanded better wages, benefits and safety protections.

The group is calling on American Airlines to negotiate a new union contract.

Hospitality union UNITE HERE Local 274 represents those employees.
