Man on e-bike killed in drive-by shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man riding an electric bike was killed in a drive-by shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

The gunfire erupted just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue.

Police say at least 35 shots were fired.

The man was rushed to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the suspect was driving a red SUV and was last seen heading southbound on Kensington Ave.

No arrests have been made.
