Man dead, another injured following double shooting in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are working to figure out what led up to a deadly double shooting in West Philadelphia.

The shots were fired along the 5400 block of Locust Street just after 8 p.m. Saturday.

When police arrived, they found a man in his 30s shot multiple times.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

A second man was also hurt and is listed in serious but stable condition.

Officers recovered two handguns at the scene.

They are also searching for a black vehicle that they believe may have been a getaway car.
