Man shot and killed in Hunting Park section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia detectives are investigating a deadly shooting from Friday night that has similar circumstances to a killing last weekend.

Police were called to the area of 12th and Lycoming streets in Hunting Park just before 11 p.m.

Officers arrived to find a man in his 20s shot in the chest.

The man was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.

Police have not made any arrests, and no weapon has been recovered.

Detectives are working to determine if this incident may be connected to a similar murder last Saturday near the same exact location.
