Manna Bakery adds to pop-up success with new Fishtown brick-and-mortar

Breakout baker Saif Manna of Manna Bakery has built a niche specialty in a very short time, making Levantin and Palestinian-inspired baked goods -- from sweet to savory. Saif's unique pastries are created from his personal memories, based largely on experiences with his family over the years. Customers are able to see the stories behind the food laid out on parchment paper, a carryover from the pop-up tables -- which Saif plans to continue. The brick and mortar also allows Saif and team to offer expertly crafted coffee drinks for the first time through small batch roaster Seekers Coffee. The new space is also intended to be a welcoming retreat for the community.
