CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- The City of Camden has a new tool to help fight fires.
Officials showed off a new fire ladder truck on Wednesday that will operate out of the North 27th Street Firehouse.
Ladder 3 carries 183 feet of ladders and is capable of delivering water to the highest floors of Camden's tallest buildings.
It is replacing an existing ladder truck that is now twenty years old.
The new truck is part of Mayor Victor Carstarphen's $14 million investment in equipment and improvements to firehouses since 2022.
