More dead geese found in New Jersey amid possible bird flu outbreak

WOODSTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- There are renewed concerns about a bird flu outbreak in New Jersey.

The Woodstown Police Department in Salem County is now warning about dead geese.

They were found at Woodstown Memorial Lake this week.

Nearly 7,500 cases of sick or dead birds were reported to the state Department of Environmental Protection just during the month of February.

That includes confirmed bird flu cases in Hainesport, Burlington County.
