PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It has been more than four and a half years since a man was shot and killed near his Germantown home.
The search continues for a suspect in the case.
His family is hoping you can help bring some closure.
"The last time I saw Christopher, it was October 13th," says Tealia Charles.
Four hours after Tealia Charles last saw her son, Christopher, he was shot multiple times.
It happened just before 4 a.m. on Thursday, October 14th, 2021 on the 6300 block of Milton Street in Germantown.
That location is less than a mile from his home.
"Two weeks in the hospital and I didn't know. They didn't tell me anything," says Charles.
Tealia says what makes this even more heartbreaking is that her son clung to life for nearly 16 days before he succumbed to his injuries.
However, she was unaware that he had been shot.
She also tells Action News that her son had been working hard to get his life together and was on the right track when he was gunned down.
"I want to know why you killed my son. Whoever knows anything, I pray you do the right thing and turn this person in, whoever killed my son," says Charles.
