PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Members of the local chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists came together to kick off what will be a busy weekend of networking and celebrating media diversity in Philadelphia.
The event took place Friday night at the African American Museum in Center City.
Two journalism students were recognized and received scholarship awards, in memory of the late founding chapter president, Michael Days, who passed away last year.
Our own Rick Williams along with John Morris, 6abc's new president and general manager, joined in on the celebration.
