
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials have identified a man amid a homicide investigation in Norristown, Montgomery County.
The victim was identified on Wednesday as 38-year-old Eric King, of Conshohocken, according to the district attorney's office.
Officers responded to a home on the 800 block of DeKalb Street, near Oak Street, on Tuesday afternoon.
Nearby, investigators discovered a vehicle that had struck a pole at Jacoby and Green streets.
Inside the vehicle, officers found King bleeding from a single stab wound.
Investigators say that just before the crash, King had been involved in a verbal and physical dispute with a female at the DeKalb Street address. Officials say the female was known to King and has been interviewed by the police.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
Authorities told Action News the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is leading the investigation.
