Newark Delaware Police promotion day

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- It was promotion day for some Newark, Delaware Police officers.

Corporal Darryl Saunders was promoted to the rank of master corporal.

He has worked as a patrol officer and a community resource officer for years.

Several other officers were also commended for their service to the department.
