Person rescued from inside burning home in Montgomery County

AMBLER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a blaze inside a Montgomery County home on Monday morning.

It happened just before 9 a.m. Monday on the 200 block of Highland Avenue in Ambler.

Chopper 6 was above the scene as heavy smoke and flames were seen pouring from the residence.

Investigators say one person was injured and was flown to the hospital.

There is no word on their condition.

The fire was brought under control around 10:20 a.m.

No other injuries were reported.

Officials are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
