Center City street performer, contestant from 'The Voice' found dead

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Action News has learned that a well-known street performer from Philadelphia was found dead.

28-year-old Anthony Riley was found dead inside a home in Center City on Friday.

Friends tell Action News Riley took his own life.

The singer, who was a fan favorite on "The Voice," had left the show earlier this year to deal with substance abuse issues.

Riley had been a fixture in Center City - singing outside Reading Terminal, Penn's Landing, and Independence Hall.
