Philadelphia courts warn against outstanding parking ticket scam

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The First Judicial District of Philadelphia says people have been receiving scam text messages about outstanding parking tickets.

The court says the messages appear to come from the Philadelphia Municipal Court.

The text falsely claims that someone owes money for unpaid parking tickets.

Officials say you should not click on the link provided in the message if you receive one of the scam texts.
