Philadelphia Fire Department ambulance erupts in flames

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia Fire Department ambulance became engulfed in flames on the Schuylkill Expressway Saturday afternoon.

It happened before 4:30 p.m. on I-76 westbound around Montgomery Drive.

An Action News viewer sent us a video from the scene.

There were no injuries reported.

One lane on the eastbound side was closed for an hour.
