Philadelphia International Airport opens first kosher market

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new dining option has arrived at Philadelphia International Airport for people with dietary restrictions.

PHL is now the first airport in the U.S. to open a storefront that exclusively offers kosher and halal certified items.

The PKS Kosher Market just opened in Terminal A-West.

The market also serves vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-conscious options.

Menu highlights include grilled chicken Caesar wraps, falafel wraps and plates, smoked turkey sandwiches on pretzel buns, specialty salads and more.

The airport says this will help meet the diverse needs of travelers.
