Managing Director Adam Thiel is stepping down from his role as Managing Director to take a job in the private sector.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker announced changes to her administration on Tuesday.

Managing Director Adam Thiel is stepping down from his role to take a job in the private sector.

He will be replaced by Carlton Williams, who currently serves as the Director of the Office of Clean and Green Initiatives.

Thiel has served as Managing Director since Parker took office in 2024.

Prior to that, he was the Fire Commissioner under former mayor Jim Kenney.
