PhilaPort's inaugural cruise scheduled to set sail this week

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The much anticipated inaugural cruise from the new PhilaPort cruise terminal is scheduled to set sail this Thursday.

However, the main terminal isn't ready yet, after a harsh winter delayed construction.

Instead, check-in will be slightly different.

Passengers boarding the Norwegian Jewel will check in at the Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport, before taking shuttle buses to the port.

Norwegian Jewel is set to homeport in Philadelphia through October 2026.
