81-year-old woman found unconscious after being left inside hot bus in Bala Cynwyd

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway after authorities say an elderly woman was left inside a parked bus in the heat in Bala Cynwyd.

She was found unconscious on Monday inside the bus in the parking lot at the Residence Bala Cynwyd on Lancaster Avenue.

The 81-year-old woman was rushed to Lankenau Hospital, where she is in serious but stable condition.

There has been no word on how long she was left in the bus.

Police are investigating.
