Police investigating Germantown shooting that left man injured

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was seriously injured after he was shot in the stomach and hip in Germantown.

Police responded to a reported shooting on the 5700 block of Wayne Avenue around 11:20 p.m. Saturday.

Police say they found blood on the scene, but no victim.

They were later told the victim was taken to the hospital in a private car.

He is listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
