Police investigating after man found shot multiple times in Philadelphia's Fairhill section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was found shot multiple times in the city's Fairhill neighborhood.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning along the 2800 block of Reese Street.

Police say they arrived to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital. He's listed in stable condition.

His identity has not been released.

Investigators say a suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered.

The cause of the shooting remains under investigation.
