Police responded to the Alpha Sigma Phi house last week

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (WPVI) -- A fraternity at Rutgers University is under interim suspension for possible hazing.
Police responded to the Alpha Sigma Phi house in New Brunswick on Wednesday last week.
They found a 19-year-old student unresponsive.
Sources tell our sister station in New York that he came into contact with electricity, suffering serious burns or shock.
The student is hospitalized in critical condition.
The fraternity says if any hazing is involved, there will be consequences.
People who live inside the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house at Rutgers University spent Friday packing up their belongings and finding some place else to live following a city order.
A statement from the fraternity reads in part, "If it is determined by the Fraternity, the University or law enforcement that the undergraduate members hazed that evening, the chapter will be closed."
The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office is handling the case and did not release any more information.
