Saks Fifth Avenue closing Bala Cynwyd, Pa. store this spring

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (WPVI) -- There is one less place to shop on the Main Line.

Saks Fifth Avenue is closing its Bala Cynwyd location at the end of April.

It's one of eight stores the retail company will be shuttering nationwide.

A spokesman for Saks says the company is focusing on its more profitable businesses and paring down on debt, during its Chapter 11 bankruptcy re-structuring.
