Escaped wallaby on the loose in Middle Twp., Cape May County

MIDDLE TWP., NJ (WPVI) -- There's a wallaby on the loose!

The Cape May County Sheriff's Office posted on social media Tuesday that the animal escaped in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township, New Jersey.

The sheriff's office says they are also working with the Cape May County Park/Zoo, as well as the Middle Township Police Department to hopefully locate the animal.

"If you happen to encounter it, please, do not approach, give the animal space and dial 911."

No other information about where the animal escaped from or how has been released.
