
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a road-rage shooting on I-95 in Philadelphia's Tacony section that left one person injured.
The shooting happened just before 7:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes approaching the Cottman Avenue exit.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the driver of a brown Honda CR-V and a silver Honda Accord were involved in a road rage incident. Police say the driver of the Accord fired several rounds at the CR-V.
The CR-V was hit multiple times, and a passenger was shot once in the arm. The victims drove themselves to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and was placed in stable condition.
A portion of the highway was briefly shut down during the investigation, but has since reopened.
Just before 9:00 a.m. state police located the suspect's vehicle outside a home on the 4300 block of Sheffield Street in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia.
A man and woman were found inside and detained.
Investigators conducted a search warrant and recovered evidence connected to the shooting.
