Four shot outside Waffle House in Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating after four people were shot outside a Waffle House restaurant.

It happened around 12:10 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the business located along the 1400 block of Pulaski Highway in New Castle County.

Troopers found three people shot at the scene, including a 20-year-old man from New Castle, a 19-year-old man from Bear, and an 18-year-old woman from Wilmington.

A fourth victim, identified as a 17-year-old female from New Castle, later arrived at the hospital.

All four victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspects from a large crowd had gathered in the parking lot and fired multiple shots at the victims before fleeing the scene.

Further details on what led up to the gunfire have not been released.
