Souderton students stage walkout to support teens arrested in Quakertown

SOUDERTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Students at Souderton Area High School staged a walkout Friday to protest ICE and show solidarity with the teens arrested during last week's demonstration in Quakertown.

A group of students marched across school grounds holding signs as classmates and staff looked on.

Last week, five Quakertown High School students were arrested following their own protest, which took place despite warnings from administrators not to hold the event.

That demonstration ended in a clash between students and police.
