South Philadelphia man pleads guilty for role in trying to sell counterfeit Jason Kelce merchandise

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A South Philadelphia man has pleaded guilty for his role in trying to sell more than $200,000 worth of counterfeit Jason Kelce memorabilia.

Robert Capone admitted his guilt in a Montgomery County court this week.

As part of the scheme, prosecutors say Capone deceived a worker at Beckett Authentication Services and falsely told her the autographs from the legendary Eagles center were legitimate.

Capone is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 29.
