Spring-Ford Area High School students stage anti-ICE walkout

ROYERSFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Students at Spring Ford Area High School staged a walkout Wednesday in protest against ICE.

Chopper 6 was overhead as dozens of students filed out of the building around 1 p.m.

The event was not sanctioned by the school or the district. Administrators cited concerns over student safety.

Students who walked out of class received demerits in accordance with district policy. You can read the full district response here.
