Suspect in Hunting Park homicide shot victim from 2nd-floor window: Police

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have released new details on a fatal shooting in the Hunting Park section of the city on Monday.

The suspect in this case has been identified as 40-year-old Dwayne Robinson.

Police say Robinson shot and killed 23-year-old Quamar Adams in the 3500 block of N. Warnock Street around 1:40 a.m.

Only Action News was there as a police SWAT team took Robinson into custody around 10:45 a.m.

Action News was there as police took a man into custody on Monday near the scene of an overnight shooting in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

Detectives said Wednesday that Robinson killed Adams, a resident of Norristown, by shooting at him from a second-floor window.

However, investigators have not yet disclosed a possible motive for the shooting.

Robinson has been charged with murder and related offenses.
