Suspect wanted in multiple distraction burglaries around Philadelphia arrested, another still sought

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have arrested one suspect wanted in multiple distraction burglaries this past spring.

Now, they're looking for one more.

Abington Police say 43-year-old Ephraim Frank of Runnemede, New Jersey, was extradited to Montgomery County to face charges.

Investigators say one suspect would lure homeowners outside by offering cheap tree work, while an accomplice went inside to steal money and jewelry.

The scheme happened on Pennypack Road in Abington.

A second distraction-style burglary occurred on Knights Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police are searching for the second suspect.
