Thunder of the Waves Airshow set to return to Wildwood at the Jersey Shore for 2026

WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- The high-flying stunts and mid-air performances will once again take flight over the Jersey Shore.

The Thunder over the Waves Airshow will return to Wildwood next year.

Wildwood officials say this year's inaugural airshow, held earlier this month, was a success, attracting more than 100,000 people.

Next year, the show is set to be even bigger, with an expanded lineup.

It will be held the weekend after Labor Day, on September 11-12, 2026.
