Tree falls in East Mount Airy after overnight storms in Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Crews are working to remove a tree Friday that fell in Philadelphia's East Mount Airy section after storms overnight.

Chopper 6 was over the scene, where you could see a backyard tree that had snapped and fell across the road, barely missing homes on the other side.

The tree is blocking Slocum Street at Germantown Ave.
