Upper Southampton police warning about multiple vehicle thefts during overnight hours

Upper Southampton, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Upper Southampton Police Department is investigating multiple vehicle thefts that have been occurring during the overnight hours.

In each case, police say the owner left their vehicle unlocked with valuables in plain sight.

In the cases involving vehicle thefts, the owners left the ignition keys in the unlocked vehicle, according to investigators.

The Upper Southampton Police Department is urging all residents to remove valuables from their vehicles when they park for the night, properly secure/lock their car, and never leave the keys inside.

Residents are urged to call 911 if they spot any suspicious behavior.
