VIDEO: California wildfire burns in hollowed out tree

SCHELLVILLE, Calif. (WPVI) -- A Sonoma resident captured video of a tree being hollowed out by a wildfire in Schellville, California.

Matthew McDermott was driving in Schellville on October 9 when he and his friend spotted the fire and pulled over to get a closer look.

The footage he captured shows the fire burning the tree from the inside out.
