VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- It's a new lease on life for a place that enhances the quality of life for older adults.
A renovation celebration was held Friday for the grand reopening of the Vineland Senior Center on South Sixth Street.
The building dates back to 1904 and first opened as a senior center in the 1970's.
This was the first full renovation since then.
Senior center leaders say they worked to preserve the history and charm of the space while making changes that elevate the social experience and the recreational and wellness programs.
